![]() ![]() Castti's description when selecting her. Unable to ignore the nagging feeling within you, you embark on a journey to recover what you lost. The only clues to your identity are your satchel and skills as an apothecary. Discovered adrift at sea, you awoke to the realization that you could not recall your own name. Your tale begins in a port town of the Harborlands. "Your name is Castti Florenz, and you are an apothecary. Travel banter with Agnea and Hikari shows that she gets quite unruly while drunk, and when Partitio says that he doesn't understand what amnesia feels like, she responds by tricking him into thinking that he and her "got up to all sorts of mischief" while drunk the night before. Despite her maturity, she does occasionally act in a mischievous manner. Her tendency to take charge for her peers' well-being and aid those around her makes her well-liked among most who meet her. She also struggles with why her memories were removed in the first place, and it's revealed in another talk with Hikari that she partially fears what she may uncover, in case her own mind buried the memories after some horrible trauma.Ĭastti is also quite maternal and caring, with her fellow apothecaries and Ochette nicknaming her "Mother Hen" and "Ma" respectively. ![]() Her lack of memories seems to trouble her, however, and weigh down her otherwise patient and kind temperament, and many of the flashes of memories she manages to recover only concern her more. She's shown to be very skilled, likely due to years of experience, and it is later revealed she was the chief of her group of apothecaries before whatever event took her memories this aligns with how she naturally steps into a leadership role when it comes to medicine, seen in her Chapter 2, as she does not hesitate to issue orders. ![]() But despite her memory loss she is still kind and gentle as she was in the past, however, she has quite a temper to those who stop her from helping those in need, be they familiar or otherwise. ![]() She had amnesia with no memories, or clues of her past, other than what was in her bag. Octopath Traveler Review: Divide And Conquer She notes this as unusual for a typical apothecary, as most of them wouldn't come into such direct contact with anything that dangerous. Castti recognizes it as scarring from some sort of swelling that she can tell was unnatural in origin, most likely some kind of poison. In a party banter with Hikari, he observes a bruise-like black mark on one of her arms. Continuing with the theme of pre-Industrial western womenswear, she wears black stockings and brown boots. She carries a brown satchel resembling a messenger bag and has a smaller pouch on a belt at her waist. She also wears a matching light blue capelet with a hood and a pocket on the left side. This consists of a light blue dress with a high collar and sleeves worn rolled up and cuffed below the elbow, a full-length white apron with a blue stripe, and a white cap similar to historical nurse's caps, also with a single blue stripe, likely secured to her hair with one or more pins. Her clothing, stated specifically to be a uniform for a group of apothecaries in-universe, resembles clothing worn by nurses in the 19th and early 20th centuries in Europe and America, though her skirt is shorter. Castti has blonde hair worn in a bun at the back of her head in her primary artwork. ![]()
